Privacy policy
Summary
GTA House has no user accounts, forms, comments, newsletter, or analytics or advertising tools. We only process personal data in two cases: the technical data strictly needed to serve the website, and whatever you send us if you choose to contact us. Optional cookies (such as those of the YouTube player) are only used if you accept them; see the Cookie policy.
Data controller
The controller is GTA House, a project run by private individuals. You can contact us about any privacy matter through the channels listed on the Contact page.
What data we process and why
Technical browsing data
When you visit the site, the server receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, requested page, and date and time. It is used only to serve the website, keep it secure (for example, to stop attacks or abusive access) and fix errors.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: technical logs are kept for a short period and deleted automatically.
Data you send us when you get in touch
If you write to us by email, on social media or on Discord, we will process the data you provide (username, email address, message content) only to reply to you.
- Legal basis: your consent when contacting us (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Retention: for as long as needed to handle your message, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don’t build profiles or make automated decisions about you.
- The site search runs in your own browser: what you type is not sent to any server.
- Share buttons don’t load social media scripts; they only take you to the network when you click.
- Fonts are served from our own domain, with no connections to third-party services.
- In the videos section, thumbnails are loaded from YouTube’s image servers (which receive your IP address, like any web server). The YouTube player only loads if you have accepted functional cookies.
- On the Music page, playlist covers are served from our own domain. When you play a preview, the audio is downloaded from Spotify’s servers (which receive your IP address, like any web server). The official Spotify player (only for playlists without previews) loads only if you have accepted functional cookies.
Service providers
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as a processor of technical browsing data. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area; these transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
When a video or a playlist plays, Google/YouTube’s or Spotify’s privacy policy also applies.
The social networks and external platforms we link to (Discord, YouTube, Spotify, X, Instagram, Rockstar Games Social Club) have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability at any time, and withdraw your consent, by writing to us through the Contact channels.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country.
Minors
The site is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under that age, please do not send us personal data without your parents’ or guardians’ consent.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process data (for example, by adding analytics or comments), we will update this page and show the date of the last revision.
Applicable law: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
