GTA 6: Travis Scott and other artists share game art on Spotify billboards
Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Keith Richards and more debut GTA VI illustrations, which turn up on Spotify billboards across the US a day later.
GTA VI's music started to surface out of nowhere. On the afternoon of September 15, 2026, several artists simultaneously posted new GTA VI illustrations on social media, in the same poster style Rockstar uses for its artwork. The next day, September 16, extended versions of those pieces appeared on billboards in Los Angeles, Miami and New York carrying the Spotify logo.
Who shared the artwork
Artist | Genre |
|---|---|
Travis Scott | Rap |
Morgan Wallen | Country |
Freebandz, Future's label | Rap |
CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso | Argentine pop and rock |
Rauw Alejandro | Reggaeton |
Keith Richards | Rock |
All of them sharing official game art on the same day pointed one way: they'd have songs in GTA VI. Travis Scott was the most explicit, pairing his image with a cryptic message about "Phase 1," "now it's time," a return "with rage and a lot of dancing" and a "to be continued" tagging Rockstar.

The Spotify billboards
A day later, the illustrations hit the streets of Los Angeles, Miami and New York on billboards bearing Spotify's logo. The platform simply shared photos with a pair of eyes emoji. Spotify had already put together an official playlist of the music from An Extended Look, so a music announcement looked imminent.
It's the second time an outside company has promoted GTA VI in a big way: the first was YouTube, which put the second trailer on the screens of Times Square.

What it meant
The mix of names already hinted at what Rockstar had planned: a lineup running from rap to country and from reggaeton to Rolling Stones rock, in keeping with the range of radio stations the series has always had. The answer came two days later, when Rockstar announced GTA VI: The Album, with these same artists among the first singles.
