GTA VI has teamed up with one of Miami's most photographed spots. On October 13, 2026, the Wynwood Walls Museum, the open-air street art museum in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood, announced a partnership with Rockstar Games in three parts: the game will feature a district inspired by Wynwood, Miami-Dade residents get free museum entry until 2028, and there's a new merch collection built around the artwork that appears in the game.

Stockyard, Vice City's Wynwood

According to the museum's announcement, GTA VI includes an area called Stockyard based on Wynwood, and more than a dozen street artists created original work for the game to authentically represent the city and culture it pays homage to. In other words, the murals on Stockyard's walls will be by real artists, not generic stand-ins.

To celebrate, the museum unveiled ten new murals across Wynwood and inside the museum itself, based on the in-game artwork by Askew One, DENIAL, FAILE, Gons and Audet, Lady AIKO, Queen Andrea, Ron English, Tristan Eaton and Miami-based artists ATOMIK and Tatiana Suarez.

Free entry for Miami-Dade residents

Thanks to the Rockstar deal, Miami-Dade County residents can visit the museum free of charge through 2028. Admission covers the rotating murals and sculptures, exhibitions at the Goldman Global Arts Gallery, hands-on spray-painting and, soon, an artist-in-residence program. The timing is telling: while some county commissioners oppose promoting the game in public spaces, Rockstar is investing in local culture through private partners.

Our take

It's one of the smartest ideas of the whole campaign. Rockstar has always caricatured real cities, but this goes further: it brings artists who are part of Miami's identity into the game and gives them visibility outside it, much like it did with the artists on GTA VI: The Album. For players, the promise is a district that doesn't just look like Wynwood but carries its actual murals. We'll see it on November 19.
