GTA VI editions
GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in two editions: the Standard Edition, which is the full game, and the Ultimate Edition, which layers vehicles, weapons, outfits, exclusive businesses and activities across the whole story. On top of that, pre-ordering either one gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Here is everything each one includes, item by item with the official images, how pre-orders and pre-loading work, and our take on whether the Ultimate Edition is worth the extra.

Both editions contain the same game; only the extra content changes. The pre-order bonus is separate and works with either one.

The complete edition
Premium vehicles, weapons, outfits and exclusive businesses woven through Jason and Lucia’s whole story, with new items unlocking every chapter.
The Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition bundles premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and exclusive businesses, but it doesn’t hand everything over on day one: Rockstar says the bonuses are threaded through Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items turning up in every chapter.
What really sets it apart are the five businesses that stay closed without it: two custom shops, a hair salon, a clothing store and a tattoo parlor. All sixteen bonuses are below, one by one.
Vehicle
Grotti’s mid-’90s sports car, a love letter to Shore Drive with a clean, retro-futuristic livery. You won’t get it right away: Rockstar holds it back to spice up the later stages of the story. The Cheetah is one of the series’ longest-running cars, and this white-and-red take nods squarely at the Italian supercars of the era.
Weapons
His-and-hers versions of the same hand cannon, with classic Vice City styling and a famous pedigree: they come from the Vercetti Estate, Tommy’s mansion in GTA Vice City. Expect palm-tree-etched grips, engraved detailing and a high-performance scope.
Weapons
Each lead’s signature sidearm with custom engravings: Jason’s Girardi ES9 and Lucia’s Klose K17.
Looks
Exclusive outfits, tattoos and more for both leads, whether they are lounging by the pool or heading out. The official shots set the tone: a flamingo-and-hibiscus shirt for Jason, and a corduroy jacket and skirt with tiger-print boots for Lucia.
Vehicles
An Army-fatigue Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a Crest kayak, waiting at Jason’s safehouse for when you want to switch gears or soak up the sun on the water.
Modkit
Exclusive mods that give Jason’s worn-out, low-riding Vapid Ganado pickup some muscle and classic styling.
Mod shop
A shop that turns everyday cars into showpieces, with detailed interiors, flashy rims and donk styling, the lifted look built around huge wheels.
Ultimate Edition only
Hair salon
Signature styles for both leads, facial hair for Jason, and makeup and nails for Lucia.
Ultimate Edition only
Watercraft
A pink-and-blue gradient speedboat docked at Washington Beach, made for fishing trips in Gambit Bay and ready for open water thanks to an explosives-laden weapons crate.
Clothing store
Stockyard’s go-to spot for elevated streetwear, with unique looks for Jason and Lucia.
Ultimate Edition only
Vehicle & garage
A Mud Club monster built for the trails of Mount Kalaga and beyond. It comes with the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay, complete with a weapon locker and a safe spot to stash stolen goods until you can fence them.
Tattoo shop
Stockyard’s most famous ink bar, with more than 50 signature tattoos for both leads, all designed by the art collective FAILE.
Ultimate Edition only
Mod shop
A Lake Leonida shop that specializes in off-road builds and hand-painted liveries.
Ultimate Edition only
Apparel
A capsule collection of clothes and accessories based on Macca the Gator, the star of a hit TV show in the Goodtime State, as Leonida likes to call itself. It is the same character behind The Goodtime State collector’s box (opens in a new tab).
Gang compound
An exclusive activity: raid the compound of the PTT Youngin$, one of Southside Vice City’s loudest and most online gangs, and get away with special items and hard-to-find contraband.
Special commission
Wyman, an eccentric collector and local fixer, sends you after abandoned classics and half-finished project cars so you can bring them back to their former glory.
Pre-order bonus
For anyone who pre-orders or buys before the end of November 19, in any edition: a classic sedan with a garage, eighties outfits and hairstyles, and a tropical weapon pattern.
The Vintage Vice City Pack goes to anyone who pre-orders or buys GTA VI before the end of November 19, 2026, in any edition. It is a throwback to neon-soaked Vice City, the one from GTA Vice City: a classic sedan with a garage, period outfits and hairstyles, and a weapon pattern lifted from Tommy Vercetti’s shirt.
Rockstar only offers it with a purchase or pre-order inside that window, so if you want it, don’t wait for launch day.
Vehicle & garage
A classic two-tone sedan for cruising Shore Drive, with the Shore Court personal garage a stone’s throw from the sand at Ocean Beach. Like the Ultimate Edition’s garage, it has a weapon locker and a secure spot to keep stolen goods until they are fenced.
Outfits & hairstyles
Jason’s pastel linen suit with the decade’s signature cut, and Lucia’s red sequin mini dress and curls. Straight out of 1986 Vice City.
Weapon pattern
A tropical pattern for most guns, inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s iconic palm-tree button-up.
Pre-orders have been open since June 25, 2026. Here are the key dates and what to know before you pick an edition.
It comes down to how deep you plan to go into the story. GTA VI launches as a single-player game, so everything the Ultimate Edition adds is for the campaign, and it arrives gradually: the bonuses show up chapter by chapter and add variety rather than a shortcut.
The real draw is the five exclusive businesses. If you love customizing cars, changing your look or collecting tattoos, Rideout Customs, One-Eyed Willie’s, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305 and Electric Fang open up a lot of options, and they stay shut in the Standard Edition. If you are only here for the story, the Standard Edition is the same game.
The Vintage Vice City Pack doesn’t depend on the edition: pre-order either one and it is yours. If you are on the fence, pre-ordering the Standard Edition already locks in the pack, pre-loading and the free month of GTA+.
Vehicles (the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with a garage, the Shitzu Squalo speedboat, a Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a kayak), engraved revolvers and pistols, exclusive outfits and tattoos, mods for Jason’s Vapid Ganado, five businesses that only open with this edition and two exclusive activities.
No. Rockstar says the bonuses are spread across the story, with new items unlocking in each chapter; the Grotti Cheetah, for example, arrives in the later stages.
Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie’s (mod shops), Sara’s Unisex Salon (hair salon), Stock 305 (clothing) and Electric Fang Tattoo (tattoos).
Pre-order or buy GTA VI, in any edition, before the end of November 19, 2026.
