The first GTA Online bonus week of 2026 is all about cleaning dirty money. From January 8 to 14, 2026, the Hands On Car Wash is free at Maze Bank Foreclosures and all three legal Money Fronts businesses pay 3X GTA$ and RP.

How to get the Hands On Car Wash for free

The car wash is your way into Money Fronts, the summer 2025 update that lets you launder cash through front businesses. To claim it at no cost:

  1. Watch the Money Fronts introductory cutscene, where you meet Raf and Mr. Faber.
  2. Open Maze Bank Foreclosures before January 14 and buy the Hands On Car Wash, which will be listed for free.

Already own it? The multipliers still make this a good week to log in.

Operation Paper Trail and HSW races

Operation Paper Trail, Agent ULP's IAA investigation into gas price manipulation, pays double for everyone and — for the first time — quadruple for GTA+ Members. Start it from the U icon in Downtown Los Santos.

Hao's Special Works races pay 4X GTA$ and RP. They're only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Enhanced), and you need to have finished Hao's introductory time trial and own an HSW-upgraded vehicle. Launch them from the LS Car Meet or the Jobs tab in the Pause Menu.

What to do first

If you haven't started Money Fronts, claim the car wash before anything else — it's only free this week and it unlocks the other fronts. With triple pay active, Car Wash jobs are also the quickest route to the GTA$100,000 challenge. GTA+ Members should look at Operation Paper Trail first: at 4X it's likely the best earner per hour this week.

Rockstar also teased three new jobs for later in the month — we cover them in the firefighter, forklift and paper route Odd Jobs. January's GTA+ perks are in our Pfister Astrale roundup.
