Money Fronts, the summer 2025 update, turns that problem into a business. Rockstar announced it on June 11, and it arrived on June 17, 2025 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
Enter Mr. Faber
The story introduces Mr. Faber, the enigmatic financier behind San Andreas’ biggest laundering network, who has handled money for half of Los Santos — Tony Prince’s clubs, El Rubio’s drug trade, the Epsilon cult and Yusuf Amir’s gold-plated whims. Through Martin Madrazo and his stylish fixer Raf De Angelis, he offers you a partnership that suits you both. It’s the same Faber who, a year later, would commission The Kortz Center Heist.
The three front businesses
- Hands On Car Wash (Strawberry): your way in and the heart of the operation. You need to buy it first, and it unlocks the other two.
- Smoke on the Water (Vespucci Beach): a “prescription” cannabis dispensary that lets you launder more cash and sabotage rival grow ops.
- Higgins Helitours (Vespucci Helipad): sightseeing flights up front, valuable cargo runs out the back.
Each front also boosts a business you may already own: the car wash lifts Counterfeit Cash Factory sales for Bikers, Smoke on the Water lifts Weed Farm sales and Higgins Helitours lifts Air Freight Cargo.

How it works: launder without drawing attention
From the laptop in any of your fronts — or by calling Raf — you start Money Laundering missions tailored to each business. Your cut is stashed in the duffel bag in the car wash bedroom, while your other criminal businesses keep feeding cash into its safe.
The catch is Heat: every illegal job raises suspicion, and “hot” businesses get flagged on the map. Until you cool them down, they stop generating passive income. To do that, you have to run the legitimate side:
- Car wash: clean customers’ cars and drop them back.
- Smoke on the Water: deliver bales of “organic” product.
- Higgins Helitours: fly sightseeing tours in the company Maverick.

Mr. Faber Work
Faber’s clients aren’t patient people, and they need help: recovering stolen assets, escorting shipments or taking out rivals. These Mr. Faber Work jobs launch from your fronts’ laptops or a call to Raf, pay GTA$ and RP, and add a bonus once the money comes out clean. Just remember they raise the Heat on whichever business you start them from.

New vehicles
- Karin Woodlander (SUV), compatible with Hao's Special Works upgrades on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC Enhanced.
- Karin Everon RS (SUV), the loudest take yet on the Everon.
- Dewbauchee Rapid GT X (Sports).
- Annis Hardy (Sedan).
- Übermacht Sentinel GTS (Sports), whose trade price you unlock through the new QuickiePharm medical courier jobs.
- Western Police Bike, for Dispatch Work, bundled with the Summer Highway Patrol Outfit.
On top of that, 50 more vehicles can now take Imani Tech’s missile lock-on jammer.

Other changes
The update also lets you skip several cutscenes on mission replays, doubles every source of Arena Points, delays the global alert on Sell Missions in public sessions and drops the Boxville from Biker Sell Missions. On PC, GTA V Enhanced gets improved ray-traced reflections and global illumination.
