The bundle of GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas showed up on Epic's storefront in mid-February 2023 with no advance notice: Rockstar didn't publish a Newswire post about it.
Almost a month later than promised
When the trilogy hit Steam on January 19, Rockstar said on its Newswire that the Epic version would release "later in January." That window came and went with no update or official explanation, and the game ended up arriving almost a month later with next to no promotion.
Epic completes the Trilogy's rollout across the major PC storefronts. Until January it could only be bought through the Rockstar Games Launcher; now it's on Rockstar's launcher, Steam and Epic.

Where you can play it
- PC: Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam (since January 19, 2023) and the Epic Games Store (since February 2023).
- PlayStation: PS5 and PS4.
- Xbox: Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
- Nintendo: Switch.
Is it fixed now?
Not entirely. More than a year after the troubled November 2021 launch, which led Rockstar to issue an apology, the Trilogy has received several patches that fixed some of its problems, but plenty of players still aren't won over. The Epic version is the same as on every other PC store.

Epic or Steam?
Our take: the game is identical on both stores, so it comes down to where your library lives. If you play on Steam Deck, Steam has the edge: Rockstar confirmed all three games are Playable on Steam Deck. And if you're after the best version of the trilogy, note that Rockstar kept polishing it: that December it came to Netflix and mobile with a Classic Lighting mode.
