Red Dead Online August bonuses: triple Telegram Missions and Collector Sets

Red Dead Online from August 4 to 31, 2026: 3X RDO$, XP and Gold on Telegram Missions, 3X Collector Sets, the Frontiersman Outfit and free Fast Travel.

August in Red Dead Online brings back content a lot of players have forgotten about: Telegram Missions. From August 4 to 31, 2026, they pay 3X RDO$, XP and Gold, and the Collector role gets bonuses again, with 3X on Collector Set sales.

What are Telegram Missions?

They're jobs that arrive by mail, such as A Tough Business, Skelding's Contract or Strange Tales of the West — the last one built around writer Theodore Levin's supernatural tales. Pick them up at a Post Office or your camp Lockbox and launch them from Documents in your Satchel. Note: A New Source of Employment missions don't pay 3X Gold.

Collectors can assemble the Frontiersman Outfit over the month:

  • Hat: log in any day.
  • Gloves: discover two Collectibles in any week.
  • August 4–10 (Rank 10+): pants and belt. Collecting a Fossil also unlocks the Vaquero Baroque Spurs.
  • August 11–17 (Rank 10+): boots and half chaps. Collector Daily Challenges earn the North Clingman Treasure Map.
  • August 18–24 (Rank 20): shirt and suspenders. The Weekly Collection earns a free shirt.
  • August 25–31 (Rank 20): neckerchief. Winning the Featured Series earns the Burned Town Treasure Map.

Completing two Daily Challenges also gets you 10 Gold Bars off any Role gating item.

Is it worth it?

Triple Gold on Telegram Missions is the highlight: they're short, easy to chain, and rarely get bonuses. If you've been sitting on complete Collector Sets, sell them now at triple pay.
