Red Dead Online Thanksgiving bonuses: 3X Trader Sales and 10X turkeys

Thanksgiving has come to the frontier, and it's all about the Trader. From November 3 to 30, 2026, Red Dead Online pays triple RDO$, XP and Role XP on Trader Sales, 10X RDO$ on turkeys sold to the Butcher and triple RDO$ and XP in the Trade Route Free Roam Event. On top of that, there's a full Pittman Outfit to collect through weekly tasks.

This month's bonuses

The month-long Featured Series is the Hardcore Pro Series, also paying triple RDO$, Gold and XP. In Trade Route, you and other players ride shotgun on a goods train while bandits try to raid it along the line, and it's one of the Free Roam Events where a multiplier like this really adds up.

Getting the most out of the Trader Role

The Trader business runs through Cripps and the Butcher's Table at your camp: you bring him what you hunt, he processes it into materials, and once there's enough stock you deliver it in a Trader Sale. This month both ends of that loop are boosted. Perfect Carcasses, Pelts, Skins and Hides give double Trader Materials, and the sale itself pays triple.

Clean kills are the whole game. Using the right weapon for the size of your prey keeps pelts at perfect quality, and two of this month's discounts help with that: the Varmint Rifle for small game and the Improved Bow, both 50% off. If you're running the business seriously, the Hunting Wagon is half price too and lets you haul more back to camp per trip.

Not a Trader yet? The Butcher's Table, which is what unlocks the Role, is 5 Gold Bars off all November. With sales paying triple, there are few better months to get started.

10X turkeys for Thanksgiving

Fittingly, turkeys steal the show: selling them to any Butcher pays 10X RDO$ for the entire month, not just the holiday week. Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026, but there's no reason to wait until then to go looking for them.

Collecting the Pittman Outfit

The Pittman Outfit, originally from Outlaw Pass 2, can be put together for free this month. Simply playing any time in November gets you the Pittman Shirt, and playing as a Trader before November 30 adds the tricorn Pittman Hat. The rest arrives week by week:

Play during Thanksgiving week (November 24-30) and you'll also receive the Cordell Outfit and the Coronation Buckle. The Rank tasks come with two options on purpose: if you're already past Rank 10 or 15, gaining five more Ranks does the job.

Our take

This is a Trader month through and through, and a more generous one than last year's: in November 2025, Trader Sales paid double and the 10X on turkeys only ran during Thanksgiving week, whereas now it's triple pay and turkeys are worth it all month. It follows the same idea as April's Trader month, which also tripled sales, but the 2X on materials shortens the wait between one sale and the next. If you're coming off October's Halloween event, swap the monsters for hunting: the best returns come from clean hunting trips for Cripps, the odd turkey run, and jumping into Trade Route whenever it pops up.
