Red Dead Online Halloween runs October 6 to November 2, 2026: triple All Hallows’ Call to Arms, 4X Strange Tales of the West and a new reward every week.
Spooky season has reached the frontier. From October 6 to November 2, 2026, Red Dead Online brings back Halloween Pass 2, pays triple RDO$, Gold and XP in All Hallows’ Call to Arms and, best of all, quadruple rewards on the Strange Tales of the West Telegram Missions. Naturalists get a boost too, with Sample Sales paying triple.

The Strange Tales of the West are the supernatural-flavored missions you pick up by telegram, and at four times their usual payout they're the best Gold earner of the month. To get started, pick up author Theodore Levin's letter from any Post Office or your Camp's Lockbox and open it in your Satchel, or launch them from the Player Menu. All Hallows’ Call to Arms is the Halloween take on the wave-defense mode, where your posse defends survivor settlements from waves of evil entities across 10 seasonal maps, including Van Horn and Bronte Mansion.

- Log in as a Naturalist: the Irontooth Mask.
- Hunt or sample a Legendary Animal: the Best Shot emote.
- Reach wave 5 in All Hallows’ Call to Arms: the Rowberrow Outfit and the Air Banjo emote.

Our take
If you only have time for one thing, make it the Strange Tales of the West: 4X is the biggest multiplier on offer. Beyond that, the Gold discount on the Naturalist Sample Kit and 40% off its items make this a good time to pick up the role if you haven't yet, since Sample Sales pay triple and unlock the first week's reward. It's a similar setup to May's Naturalist month, just with more to earn. And if you play GTA Online too, Halloween runs all October there, with triple-paying Survivals and GTA$2 million in challenge rewards.
