GTA VI launches on

A busy elevated Vice City highway in bright sunshine, with sports cars, a taxi and a truck, and the skyline, a golden dome and the sea behind.

GTA VI music

Radio, album and score

Music in GTA VI comes from three places: the radio, with six stations revealed so far and hosts like Bad Bunny and Lana Del Rey; GTA VI: The Album, a 34-track record of original songs out on November 19, 2026, launch day; and the original score by Justice.

It is all on this page: every station with its sound and who is behind the mic, the singles you can already hear (tap one to play its preview), the vinyl editions and what Rockstar still has to confirm.

Leonida airwaves

GTA VI radio

Six stations revealed so far, from reggaeton to metal, with real stars behind the mic. And, for the first time, podcasts and radio that keeps playing when you are on foot.

Jason driving a red convertible with Lucia beside him holding a pistol, with the sea and greenery behind them.

Rockstar revealed the first six stations of GTA VI on October 8, 2026, and called it the biggest and most diverse radio lineup in the series. Those six are only part of the dial: the studio talks about everything from classic rock to talk radio, so there is more to come.

The real change is where you can listen. With headphones hooked up to their phone, Jason and Lucia can keep the radio going on foot, and on-demand podcasts arrive for the first time, separate from the stations and playable in a car or on the street.

The 13 hosts are voiced by some very familiar names, confirmed by the artists themselves in interviews. Here they are, station by station. You can hear a preview of each one on the official GTA VI site.

Latin

Cocoteo FM

Bachata and merengue for the classics, dembow and reggaeton for the party. Your hosts are El Martillo, voiced by Bad Bunny, and La Gata, voiced by RaiNao, who has said the station reflects Puerto Rican culture. A Miami parody without a Latin station was never an option, and it sits nicely next to Rauw Alejandro and Fuerza Regida on The Album.

Country

Back Country Radio

"Outlaw" country for the swamps of Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and the Leonida backcountry. It is hosted by MW, aka Morgan Wallen, and Delta Dawne, aka Lana Del Rey. It also has the most Rockstar character on the dial: Mud Dog Mike, a roving reporter and "swamp meteorologist" who calls in live from his airboat, is Delta Dawne's not-so-secret lover and is voiced by Jeremy Dufrene, Lana Del Rey's husband.

African music

AfroBank FM

The surprise of the lineup: African music from 20th-century classics through to amapiano and 3-step. It is hosted by Burna, aka Burna Boy, and Palmsy, aka Palms Trax, who is no stranger to the series: he already played the Music Locker club in GTA Online, and his set is on our Music page.

Metal

The Chamber 106.6

Decades of metal, with a nod to the death metal scene born around Tampa in the late eighties. The DJs are DJ Kerry and DJ Tom: Kerry King and Tom Araya of Slayer. Araya sums it up as a station for players who like it "fast and heavy".

Flash FM artwork: a big white lightning bolt with a black outline on a pink circle and orange stripes.

Pop

Flash FM

The big throwback. Flash FM was the pop station of GTA Vice City back in 2002, and it returns as a Vice City institution playing today's pop. The hosts are Robyn and Alex, model Alex Consani. If you want to hear the original, it is on our Music page.

Southern rap

Dirty South Classics

Classic Southern rap and hip-hop, the sound most rooted in Miami and the surrounding area. The hosts are Trick, aka Trick Daddy, and Trina, two Miami rap legends. It is the station that ties in best with the Only Raw Records crew from the trailers.

The official record

GTA VI: The Album

34 original tracks with Atlantic Records, out November 19. Nine singles are already out: tap any of them to hear a preview.

A Vice City street at night after the rain: an orange sports car beside parked e-scooters, Art Deco hotels with pink neon and the Hotel Dixon sign reflected in the puddles.

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is the game's official record, made with Atlantic Records: 34 original tracks built around the mood of Vice City and Leonida, out on November 19, 2026, the same day as GTA VI. You can already pre-save it on the streaming platforms.

The lineup crosses genres without apology: rap, reggaeton, corridos tumbados, country, electronic pop and even a Rolling Stone. In miniature, it is the same dial as the in-game radio.

It launched big: the first six singles racked up 4.1 million Spotify streams in 24 hours, searches for "GTA VI" on Spotify jumped 3,042% and more than 250,000 user playlists added at least one of the songs.

In the game

The Vice City music scene

Music is not just the soundtrack in GTA VI, it is part of the story. Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest run the Only Raw Records label, which has just signed the Real Dimez, and the trailers show them in the studio, on the dance floor and at the club. Find out who is who on the characters page.

Rockstar confirmed with the launch trailer (opens in a new tab) on October 15, 2026 that Justice is writing GTA VI's original score: the music behind the missions and cutscenes, as opposed to the songs on the radio.

The studio has promised an official score album, with no date yet. For now, the taster is Flower in a Hurricane, a standalone single featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, with artwork of its own: the game's VI in neon, soaked in rain.

Why Justice

Electronic music for Vice City neon

Justice's eighties-tinged electronic sound fits the neon-and-sunsets look the series has been mining since GTA Vice City. It is not the only French connection either: Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo produced the Travis Scott track, and Etienne de Crécy features on Sexy Magic. Rockstar is clearly after a sound of its own for GTA VI, and French electronic music is part of it.
