GTA 6 Launch Gallery: Every New Screenshot Broken Down

Two weeks out from release, Rockstar Games opened the GTA VI Launch Gallery on November 5, 2026: 38 brand-new official screenshots, plus the image that heads the page. There's a bit of everything in there, from robberies and police chases to nightclubs, swamps and even scuba diving. Jason and Lucia feature together and on their own, and the shots take us across Vice City, Port Gellhorn, Leonida Keys and Grassrivers. We went through every single one so you know exactly what's in them.

Jason and Lucia, partners in crime

The gallery opens with a shot that isn't part of the grid: Jason and Lucia wrapped up in each other on a nightclub dance floor, drenched in purple light. It's the same romantic-but-dangerous mood the launch trailer leaned into.

The first screenshot proper gets straight to business: a robbery in a green-walled store, with a masked Jason holding a stack of cash while Lucia covers the room with a submachine gun and the customers throw their hands up. The Bonnie and Clyde energy from the very first trailer is alive and well.

At the other end of the spectrum is one of the prettiest images in the set: the couple by their car on a hilltop at sunset, with Vice City fading into the haze and a few deer grazing in the foreground. Wildlife right on the city's doorstep, and lighting that's hard to look away from.

The rest of their shots together are all action. Jason, wearing a "Leonida" tank top, leans into a car window with a pistol while Lucia walks up behind him in sunglasses.

Another catches them cruising at night in a convertible, neon sliding across the windshield.

The most dramatic one has Lucia opening fire from a convertible in the middle of a chase, with an armored truck, police cruisers and bikers on their tail. It looks a lot like a cash-in-transit job that has gone sideways.

The pair also turn up at The Rusty Anchor, a waterfront bar where they slow dance at the edge of the floor while a crowd of retirees dances and toasts under the neon. That mix of humor and social satire is classic GTA.

Lucia Caminos

Lucia gets some of the strongest frames in the gallery. In one, she's behind a rain-streaked window, pistol in hand, with silhouettes moving in the background.

In another, she aims a pistol from the seat of a blue car, with an armed companion beside her. It sums up what Rockstar has been saying for months: Lucia isn't Jason's sidekick, she's every bit the lead he is.

The close-up of Lucia pointing her gun straight at the camera, hair tousled and face smudged, is probably the most striking image of the whole batch.

Keep an eye on the last one, though: Lucia shows up with short blonde hair, gripping a pistol against her chest as a police officer approaches with the cruiser's lights flashing. A new look for a later chapter of the story? That seems likely, but we'll have to play it to know for sure.

Jason Duval

Jason gets the most varied set. We see him leaning into a sport bike on a wet street next to a police car. The fairing reads "Principe" and "Alvino V1". Principe is the motorcycle brand GTA V and GTA Online players already know from the Lectro, the Nemesis and the Diablous, so the Alvino V1 looks like one of its models in GTA VI.

In another shot, sporting long hair, he points a pistol across a smoky room at a man wearing motorcycle club patches. The hairstyle change is one more hint that the story covers a long stretch of time.

He also shows up fleeing on dirt bikes through a shopping mall with a helmeted crew, security guards scrambling behind them.

Then there's Jason seen from behind, pistol in hand, facing off with three men by a pickup truck at sunset. Nobody in that frame looks relaxed.

There's even time for the gym: a shirtless Jason pressing a barbell loaded with "Gainz" plates. Could San Andreas-style fitness stats be making a comeback? For now it's just a possibility; Rockstar hasn't said anything about it.

Everything else is pure action. There's a firefight with a rifle throwing sparks, a dog in a tactical vest at his side.

In another, Jason takes cover with an assault rifle behind a bullet-riddled car while helicopters circle overhead.

There's a tense night drive with a passenger riding shotgun.

And a wounded Jason fills up at a gas station as the police and a spotlight helicopter close in. Cops show up in a lot of these screenshots, so chases look set to be a big part of the game.

Vice City never sleeps

Vice City takes up a good chunk of the gallery. There's the skyline from the bay, with a marina full of yachts and a speedboat tearing past.

At night, a downtown panorama shows off drawbridges, canals and a helicopter gliding past the towers.

There's also a top-down view of a resort, complete with a pool, umbrellas, seagulls and even a flamingo.

And a chase at dusk through a mansion district along a canal, with police on the bridge and a patrol boat chasing a yacht.

Nightlife gets plenty of attention. There's a jungle-themed nightclub with hanging plants and a packed dance floor.

Rockstar also takes us backstage into a club dressing room, where dancers do their makeup and count their earnings.

And into a VIP booth where the champagne and the cash are both flowing.

The most stylish shot in the set is a woman in a bikini surrounded by flying banknotes, a clear nod to the series' classic artwork.

We also meet a handful of Vice City characters and crews. Rockstar hasn't named any of them, so for now we can only describe them.

A tattooed man gets his hair done with a gold-plated gun in his hand while his bodyguard checks his phone. From the way the scene is staged, he looks like a kingpin.

A character with gold teeth and a huge gold pendant holds back a pit bull in a spiked collar.

A gang with tattooed faces stares down the camera in a much grittier shot.

Two men sit in a car, one in a light suit holding a silver pistol with red grips. They could well be key players in the story.

And an extreme close-up of a character covering his face with his hand shows off just how detailed the faces are.

Rounding out the city is the "Ricardo Tires" gas station, glowing red neon with modified cars parked around it.

And a car meet by the waterfront, where a woman snaps a selfie on the hood of a pink muscle car. Car culture and social media are clearly still front and center.

Beyond Vice City

Not everything happens in the big city. In Port Gellhorn, a pole dancer performs under a cabaret neon sign, so the club scene isn't limited to Vice City.

Leonida Keys brings scuba diving: a diver glides between corals with a lionfish in the foreground and a boat hull at the surface.

And Grassrivers shows Leonida at its wildest. One shot has a man with a snake draped around his neck and a knife in hand, sitting at a swamp camp next to a dead alligator.

In another, a red-eyed alligator lurks in the dark water while hunters with spotlights wait on an airboat under the moon.

What these screenshots tell us

The gallery splits the spotlight evenly between Jason and Lucia, makes it clear the police will be all over you, and shows a Leonida that's far more varied than Vice City alone, with swamps, keys and small coastal towns. Add the usual satire of luxury, fame and nightlife, and both leads' changing hairstyles hint at a story that moves through time.

We won't have to wait long to find out: GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Which screenshot is your favorite?
