On December 3, 2024, Rockstar released the trailer for GTA Online’s winter update: Agents of Sabotage, arriving free on December 10 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

Jodi Marshall, an FIB agent gone rogue

The lead is Jodi Marshall, a former FIB operative turned rogue agent. She holds a grudge against her old handlers and, crucially, still has backdoor access to the Bureau’s files — which she’s more than happy to exploit for profit. Your job will be to help her turn that intel into big scores across the city using cutting-edge clandestine tech.

A headquarters with history: the Darnell Bros Garment Factory

Your base of operations will be the Darnell Bros Garment Factory, a special place for fans: it’s where Lester planned the big scores in GTA V. Rockstar pitches it exactly that way, as the spot where some of Los Santos’ most legendary crimes were hatched, and now you’ll be able to take it over as a covert ops installation.

Pavel is back

Your other ally is a familiar face: Pavel, the eccentric Kosatka submarine captain from The Cayo Perico Heist. His smuggling know-how complements Jodi’s access and your criminal skills.

What to expect

The announcement was brief, but a few things are clear:

  • It’s a heist-driven update built around spy tech, not a passive business.
  • The factory will be a new property to buy.
  • It’s coming to every platform, PS4 and Xbox One included.

Our take: pairing Pavel, one of GTA Online’s best-loved characters, with the site of GTA V’s big heists is a direct nod to veterans. If you own the Kosatka and have cash saved, you’ll be well placed for December 10.
