GTA Online’s big winter 2024 update was revealed on December 3 with a trailer and arrived on December 10 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Agents of Sabotage puts you to work for Jodi Marshall, an ex-FIB agent with a grudge against her old bosses and a backdoor into the Bureau’s files. Alongside her is a familiar face: Pavel, the submarine captain from Cayo Perico.

Your HQ: the Darnell Bros Garment Factory

Your base is steeped in history: the Darnell Bros Garment Factory in East Los Santos, where GTA V’s big score was planned. To get going, take Pavel’s call and head to the factory, or buy it through the Maze Bank Foreclosures website.

It comes with a Mk II weapon workshop, private quarters, a safe that earns passive income and 10 slots for personal vehicles. Its basement garage also links to a network of underground tunnels reaching Burton station, Del Perro station, the La Mesa subway, the airport parking station and the Tataviam truck stop. Those entrances only show up on the map when you’re nearby, so it’s worth dropping waypoints on them.

The FIB Files

Installing the Darnell Inc. app on your iFruit unlocks The FIB Files, four multi-stage scores built around hacking, infiltration and sabotage:

  • The Black Box File: bring down an IAA-protected aircraft.
  • The Fine Art File: sneak in quietly to recover stolen artwork.
  • The Brute Force File: break into the hidden hangar beneath Fort Zancudo, grab military tech and escape at the controls of a Scarab tank.
  • The Project Breakaway File: expose Maze Bank’s secret slush fund.

Every week one of them is the Priority File, paying more GTA$ but completable only once per week. Each finale earns you cash and trophies for your desk at the factory, while optional in-mission challenges add extra GTA$ and Career Progress rewards.

A beefed-up Terrorbyte

Own the factory and your Benefactor Terrorbyte (sold at Warstock) can be parked there and fitted with new “Bureau Tech” upgrades:

  • Collectible Scanner: pinpoints collectibles around you, from action figures, playing cards and movie props to shipwrecks, peyote, G’s Cache, signal jammers, media sticks and LD Organics stock.
  • Master Control Terminal: manage stock, supplies, vehicles and cargo for your businesses from inside the truck.
  • Missile Lock-On Jammer: nobody can lock on to you.
  • Silent Running: the truck vanishes from unaffiliated players’ radar while stationary.

New vehicles

  • Bravado Banshee GTS, a fresh take on the classic two-door roadster.
  • Dinka Chavos V6, a dependable sedan at Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
  • Dinka Jester RR Widebody, a sports car that rolls out already customised, at Luxury Autos and Legendary Motorsport.
  • Canis Terminus Patrol and Vapid Caracara Pursuit, two police vehicles unlocked by finishing Slush Fund in The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid as leader.

On top of that, 50 popular vehicles, such as the Pegassi Zentorno and some police cars, now accept the missile lock-on jammer, and models like the Annis RE-7B, Ocelot XA-21 and Benefactor Stirling GT are back on sale.

Dispatch Work: vigilante justice

Vincent Effenburger brings two new Dispatch Work missions: rescue an undercover informant and shut down a drug operation run out of a food truck. Finishing them cuts the price of the new police cars. Meanwhile, the LSPD is parading lowrider and supercar versions of its patrol cars around town; stealing one and shaking off the cops is a good way to try them before they go on sale.

Quality-of-life changes

The update also permanently raises payouts for Drift and Drag Races, hands you Body Armor automatically when a mission starts or restarts, and lets you cycle siren sounds in police vehicles. The following weeks added new Stunt and Drift Races, Transform Race tools for the Rockstar Creator and the El Strickler military rifle on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
