GTA Online returns to North Yankton with the Ludendorff Cemetery zombie Survival
Ludendorff Cemetery Survival took GTA Online to North Yankton for the first time at Halloween 2024: zombies, juggernauts, possessed animals and a Community Challenge.

What you'll face
The town cemetery in snowy North Yankton becomes a battleground against waves of shambling corpses, colossal juggernauts and possessed animals. To start, just head to the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival blip on the map.

North Yankton Nightmare: the Community Challenge
Rockstar challenged everyone to slay 80 million zombies between them in the new mode. The reward, for all players, was the Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie and the Red Hooded Skull Mask. As Rockstar revealed weeks later, the community took down nearly a billion undead in a single week.

- Ghosts Exposed at double pay: ten new apparitions to photograph, with the Ghosts Exposed Outfit as the prize, plus the Albany Brigham livery for anyone who missed it the year before.
- UFOs in the sky from October 15, to photograph for Omega.
- A triple-paying Halloween Community Series featuring Jobs like “Haunted cars”, “Graveyard Sniping” and “Pirates of Los Santos”.
Why it matters
Returning to North Yankton was a long-standing community wish, and Rockstar answered it with a seasonal mode rather than a permanent area. It worked: the Ludendorff Survival has returned in later Halloween events, including Halloween 2026, and zombie Survivals later spread to Cayo Perico too.
