What is the Gun Van?
It's a Vapid Speedo packed with guns, acting as the gray-market alternative to Ammu-Nation:
- It sells cheaper than Ammu-Nation.
- There are no rank requirements on anything it sells.
- Its inventory rotates weekly, with its own discounts.
- It moves every day to avoid attention, so you have to track it down on the map.
GTA+ Members get extra discounts and exclusive finishes for some weapons.

The Railgun, finally in GTA Online
The Gun Van launched with the elusive Railgun, not previously on sale in GTA Online, as its headline item. The first inventory also included the Combat Shotgun, Assault Shotgun, SMG, Assault Rifle, Heavy Sniper and the Compact EMP Launcher at 45% off.
Hard Mode for The First Dose
The same week brought Hard difficulty to The First Dose missions, with exclusive rewards until February 8:
Hard Mode goal | Reward |
|---|---|
Complete any mission | Green Fooliganz livery for the MTL Brickade 6x6 |
Complete 3 different missions | Safari Ranger livery for the Överflöd Entity MT |
Complete a mission in under 10 minutes | Speed Demon livery for the Übermacht Cypher |
Complete a mission without dying | Kisama Drifter livery for the Annis 300R |

Why it matters
The Gun Van became a permanent fixture of GTA Online: Rockstar uses it almost every week to debut, discount or give away weapons, as you'll see in any of our weekly bonus roundups. Dropping rank requirements also meant new players could gear up without hours of grinding.
