GTA Online: Los Santos Tuners is out — the Auto Shop and KDJ and Sessanta's Contracts

Los Santos Tuners arrived in GTA Online on July 20, 2021: the LS Car Meet, the Auto Shop, six robbery Contracts with KDJ and Sessanta, 10 cars and new music.

As announced, Los Santos Tuners arrived in GTA Online on July 20, 2021. Alongside the LS Car Meet, the update brought a new property, the Auto Shop, and six robbery Contracts with two characters from The Music Locker.

The LS Car Meet

Mimi runs it from a Cypress Flats warehouse. GTA$50,000 buys a membership unlocking hundreds of ranks of clothing, races, wheels, liveries, Trade Prices and contacts for Contracts. The Test Track launched with the Karin Calico GTF, Annis Euros and a preview of the Pfister Comet S2 as Test Rides. The first Prize Ride, the Annis Remus, went to anyone who placed top three in a Street Race three days in a row.

The Auto Shop and Contracts

KDJ (DJ Moodymann, The Music Locker resident) and his partner Sessanta are looking for drivers to hit high-value targets. To work with them, buy an Auto Shop from Maze Bank Foreclosures. It does two jobs:

  • Legit business: modify customers' cars to spec and deliver them.
  • Base of operations: launch Contracts — robberies against the IAA, Merryweather and others, each with planning work and a finale. Play solo or with up to three others; the car you build is key.

The Auto Shop includes a 10-car showroom garage, a mod bay, Exotic Exports (a daily list of cars to recover around the city) and upgrades like delivery drivers, a car lift and living quarters.

Music and fashion

  • Collectible media sticks with music: Moodymann's summer mix (featuring Nez, Channel Tres, Gangsta Boo and Jesse Johnson of The Time) and CircoLoco Records' four Monday Dreamin' EPs, which together unlock a continuous mix and the CircoLoco Tee.
  • Born x Raised streetwear.

The 10 new cars

Obey Tailgater S, Annis Euros, Dinka RT3000, Annis ZR350, Vulcar Warrener HKR, Karin Calico GTF, Annis Remus, Dinka Jester RR, Karin Futo GTX and Vapid Dominator GTT, with more to follow in later weeks.

Its legacy

Los Santos Tuners is one of GTA Online's most influential updates: the LS Car Meet has been the hub of everything car-related ever since, later gaining Drift and Drag Races and, on current-gen, Hao's Special Works. Auto Shop Contracts remain one of the best ways to make money, as the 2026 Drift Event showed.
